B: Don't worry Ding Hui.

A: Where is my English book?
B: I don't know.

A: Here it is. It's under the table.
B: Good. Now you can go.

A: See you later.
B: Good bye.

我們先學幾個表示地點的介詞﹕

on 在.... 上

the (定冠詞﹐特特指的) 這個﹐那個﹔ 這種﹐那種 (一般不用翻出來)

under 在 .... 下

next 下一個

next to 緊挨著

between 在兩者之間

beside 在 ... 邊上

in 在 ... 裡面

drawer .... 抽屜

near .... 靠近

telephone .... 電話機

It is on the table. It 在這裡指書。 is 是動詞﹐在句子裡沒有什麼意思。on 在什麼上﹐the table 桌子。on the table 在桌子上。整個句子是﹕你的書在桌子上。

Your book is under the chair。
under the chair 在椅子下。你的書在椅子下。

It is next to the pen on the table.
這句話裡有兩個介詞﹐分別表示兩個方位。next to the pen on the table 在桌子上挨著筆的地方。

It is between the lamp and the flowers.
between 是在兩者之間的意思。 後面一般都有兩個東西或人。後邊的the lamp and the flowers就是兩種東西。在燈和花之間。

It is beside the computer
beside 在... 旁邊 beside the computer 在電腦旁邊

It is in the drawer.
in 在 ... 裡 in the drawer. 在抽屜裡

It is near the telephone.
near 靠近 near the telephone. 靠近電話
