L: Hello Ding Hui, how are you?
A: I’m fine Lee. How are you?

L: Excellent. Where would you like to go today?
A: Today I’d like to go to the store. How about you?

L: I’d like to go to the library.

A: See you later.

L: Good bye.

Where would you like to go today? 你今天想上哪兒去﹖
這是一種很有禮貌的說法。有禮貌的回答是﹕I would like to go to the store。

美國人很懶﹐Americans are lazy, like Lee. 他們常把英語中的兩個字能縮寫成一個字。「I would」縮寫成 「I’d」 I’d like to go to the store.意思是我想去商店。

How about you? 你呢﹖


下面我們看一下一些常用地點的名詞﹕

School 學校

Bank 銀行
I’d like to go to the bank.

Park 公園
I’d like to go to the park.

Post office 郵局
I’d like to go to the post office.

ATM取錢機

I’d like to go to the bus station.

A: Excuse me.
L: Yes.

A: Do you know where the post office is?
L: Yes I do. The post office is next to the bank.

L: You’re welcome.
