| 「Hey! long time no see. I haven´t seen you for a long time. 好久不見了！」這句話以前已經教過大家。有時候，在路上遇到很久不見的朋友，有說不完的話，那麼就不忘叫對方保持聯絡，英文叫作 "Let´s stay in touch，或Let´s keep in touch.（讓我們保持聯絡）。 Touch在上文解作通訊上的接觸如寫信或打電話，另一個例子：Don´t touch me（勿碰我）這裡的touch是解作身體上的「接觸」。Touch也可以用作解釋心靈上的感動，例如：I was so touched by the movie.（我被這齣電影深深感動了）。如要形容一個人敏感，叫做Touchy。例如：She´s so touchy.（她很脆弱,受不了刺激）。 |

| 聯絡 Touch作名詞，可解作「聯絡」，往往和contact通用，例如:(1)Did you manage to get in touch / contact with him?（你有沒有聯絡上他？）(2)Do you two still keep / stay in touch / contact? （你們兩人還保持聯絡麼？）(3)I´ve lost touch/ contact with him（我和他失了聯絡）(4)I´ll put you in touch/contact with the person responsible（我會讓你和負責人聯絡）。 不過，作動詞，Touch卻和Contact 不同：contact仍可解作「聯絡」，touch則只可解作「觸摸」。你剛剛認識了一位可愛的姑娘，不妨 說I´ll contact (=get in touch/contact with)you later（我稍後會和你聯絡），但如果你說I´ll touch you later（我稍後會觸摸你），恐怕彼此以後不可以做朋友了。 Contact一字，兼指書信、電話、拜訪等各種聯絡方式，含意至廣，沒有另外一個動詞可以取代，所以十分通用。假如要說明用什麼方式聯絡，可用by字帶 出，例如：I tried to contact him by phone/by post（我試過用電話╱書信聯絡他）。當然，你也可以說I tried phoning him/writing him。 留意contact從前只可以做名詞，後來漸漸給用作動詞，今天一般字典也都著錄其動詞用法。不過，有些人仍然認為這用法不正確，所以，假如有位英國老紳 士告訴你I tried to contact him這句文法有誤，不要感到奇怪。假如他是你上司，以後就改用get in touch/contact等說法好了。 |
