| 對中國人來說，落地生根是很重要的事。有些人習慣把自己全部 的身家放在一起，其實這樣做是很危險的。今課教大家要分散理財，分散風險，英文叫作You have to spread your investments out. 古人也有句相似的話：不要把所有雞蛋放在同一個籃子裡，英文叫做"Never put all your eggs in one basket." 因為如果籃子爛了，所有蛋也都會破了，意諭就是切勿孤注一擲。說起「蛋」，也有些有趣的句子，例如：Walking on eggshells（走在蛋殼上），就是說「如履薄冰，提心吊膽的感覺」。 |

| 蛋和老鼠 Don´t put all your eggs in one basket（蛋不要全都放在一個籃子裡）是投資界常用的成語，意思是Spread the risk或「分散風險」。Financial advisors often advise their clients to spread their risk by investing in a wide variety of stocks即「財務顧問經常建議客戶投資於多種股票，以分散風險」。 還有一句教人分散風險的英文成語是：The mouse that has but one hole is quickly taken（只打了一個洞的老鼠很快就被捕獲）。這成語出自古羅馬劇作家普勞圖斯(Plautus)一句話：Consider the little mouse, how sagacious an animal it is which never entrusts his life to one hole only（請看那小小的老鼠，牠從來不把性命寄於一窟，多麼聰明）。這和中文成語「狡兔三窟」同義，例如：Don´t invest all your money in the healthcare sector. The mouse that has only one hole is quickly taken（不要把錢都投資於健康護理業，只有一窟的老鼠最沒有保障）。 說到egg，還有兩個成語值得談談。一是egg somebody on，即慫恿某人，一般是指教他做不好的事，例如：It wasn´t his fault. I egged him on（那不是他的錯，是我慫恿他的）。另一句是to have egg on/all over one´s face，「一臉是蛋」當然感到尷尬、難堪，例如：If I make a slip during the performance, I´ll have egg all over my face（我表演時如果出錯，那就尷尬了）。 |
