I'm not so sure about that. |
I´m not so sure about that." I´m not so sure about that." I´m not so sure about that." I don´t think so."「我才不這麼認為。」 |
對話 A:What´s happened to the communications project since then? 甲:那個傳訊計劃之後怎樣了呢﹖ B:I´m not so sure about that. I think it was abandoned. A:Was it? I thought it had just been suspended. B:No. If it had just been suspended it should have been brought up in the meeting at least as an addendum. A:But just think about all the money that´s been put into the project.
I´m not sure about that. 或 I´m not certain about that. (1) Are you positive that he said so?(你肯定他是這樣說的嗎?)(2) I´m afraid I can´t be positive about that.(我對此恐怕不能肯定。) I think... but I may be wrong. I think the project was abandoned, but I may be wrong.(我想,那個計劃早就放棄了,但我可能有錯。)此外,I can´t tell和I have no idea都是「我不知道」的意思,例如:"What happened to the project?" "I can´t tell / I have no idea. I think it was abandoned.(我不知道,大概是放棄了。) It is impossible to tell her age just by looking at her. 假如要說「對某事一無所知」,也可說:do not have a clue to something。 What happened?" "I am sorry, I don´t have a clue."(「發生了甚麼事?」「對不起,我一點都不知道。」) I suspect that the project was abandoned.(我猜那計劃早就放棄了。) |
